Benefit from my expertise
Driven by my passion for technology, machinery and gadgets, I chose to study technology management at the University of Applied Sciences in Weingarten, near the city of Ravensburg in southern Germany. Here I gained solid foundational knowledge in the fields of IT, material science, electrical engineering and environmental chemistry.
I wanted to combine this personal interest with my passion for languages, and so moved one year later to study in Magdeburg. Here I studied specialist communication, with a focus on technology, and graduated as a qualified translator in 2008. I have been providing my services in the fields of IT/computing, technology and quality management systems ever since.
Continued professional development is a vital part of my business. I am constantly expanding my knowledge of my specialist areas, above all through webinars and online courses, but also through specialist literature and conversations with experts. After all, I can only provide you with a top-quality translation if I know what your text is about. This is why I turn down jobs in areas where my specialist knowledge is insufficient, such as annual reports or contracts.
I am a member of the Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer (BDÜ), Germany’s largest association for translators and interpreters, as well as TEKOM (tekom), the largest European association for technical communication.
